When the Lady Wolverines basketball team needs a rebound, it's a good bet that Diane Abaddy will come through with the carom.

The six foot, two inch sophomore is the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II leading rebounder, averaging 19.3 boards a game for the 6-3 ECC squad. She also adds 20 points per game, also tops on the team, coached by Steven Mitchell. The 20 points a game is good for seventh place nationally.

Diane was honored as Division II Player of the Week for the week of November 30. That week was when she hauled down 33 rebounds against the County College of Morris, her fourth 30 plus rebounding effort in her career. She holds the current Division II rebounding record with a 35 board effort last year against Delaware Tech.

Diane came to ECC from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
