Essex County College’s development efforts have recently been re-energized under the leadership of Dr. Susan C. Mulligan, Executive Dean for Institutional Advancement and Coleen P. Porcher, Director of Development. We invite you to partner with us by making a financial investment in the College. The Development Department is charged with raising resources from the private sector. Contributions from individuals and corporations enable the College and its foundation, the fundraising arm of the College, to provide scholarships for needy and deserving students who would be unable to pursue a college education otherwise. Additionally, your gifts provide critical support for innovative programs, faculty support and equipment that may not covered by federal, state or county allocations and grants.
Alumni Relations and Alumni Association
More than 20,000 students have graduated from Essex County College and many thousands more have taken courses; all are alumni of the College. Any of you who have walked through our doors either to begin your journey in higher education, to enhance your professional skills, or to continue your lifelong learning will remember the excitement of being on campus and the positive energy of all the students as all of you embarked on your new journey. You can attest from your own experience that your life has been changed, that you started a new career, improved your professional standing in your field, secured a promotion, or changed the trajectory of your life because you took a course at Essex County College. Anyone who has attended the college may participate in ECC Alumni Association Activities. Here is a link to activities planned for the year: 2012-2013.
The Alumni Association is part of the Development Department, and as such, we also welcome alumni financial support. Your generous contributions make it possible for other lives to become transformed through the Essex County College experience. We thank you for your involvement and financial support.
