Eligibility Requirements:

• Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 24
• Applicants must have a goal to pursue post-secondary education (college and/or vocational school)
• Applicants must be out-of-school students (not currently enrolled in school, except a GED program)
• Applicants must score at the 6th grade level or above on the C-Yes Entrance Exam
• Effort and attendance are crucial

Step 1: Attend an interview
Request an interview by calling C-Yes at 973-877-4455, or 973-877-3389. 
At the interview you will:

• Receive detailed information about the C-Yes program
• Be given the opportunity to ask questions about the program and/or the post-secondary education experience
• Give us the opportunity to learn more about your goals and how we can help you to achieve them
• Have your application materials reviewed to make sure you are eligible to participate in C-Yes

All interviews will take place in The Yellow Section, room 3252, at ECC’s main campus, located at 303 University Avenue, Newark, NJ 07102

Step 2: Complete Application

• Complete both pages of the application in full
• Supply a copy of your social security card

Step 3: Take the Entrance Exam
Register to take the C-Yes Entrance Exam
